Getting to the Defense

Malone Hall Rm 228, 3400 N Charles St, Baltimore MD

(JHU South Garage is underneath Mason Hall, which is right next to Malone Hall)

โฐ Please arrive 10 minutes early (by 2:50 PM)
Since we need to physically open the door for guests, arriving a bit early helps ensure you get inside before the defense begins at 3:00 PM.

During winter, Malone Hall's external doors are locked and require badge access. We'll have someone at a specific door to let guests in โ€” all other entrances will be closed.

If you parked in the South Garage:

The JHU South Garage is located under Mason Hall. When you take the elevator up, you'll be in Mason Hall โ€” then walk through to Malone Hall via the covered walkway.

  1. In the garage, find the "Transportation Services" office
  2. Take the elevator next to Transportation Services from P1 level to Level 1 ("Visitor Center") โ€” this brings you into Mason Hall
  3. Turn right and walk through the hallway
  4. Exit through the doors at the end of the hallway
  5. Walk through the covered walkway to reach the open door to Malone Hall
