“The real cycle you’re working on is a cycle called yourself.”

Hello, 👋 I’m Ida Shinder. As a computational biologist, I’m engaged in developing and utilizing computational tools to explore the transcriptome, uncovering the stories our cells tell through the language of genes. My objective is to create software methods and solutions that aid researchers in ‘reading’ and interpreting biological data. One of my key ambitions is to make genetic and genomic research more accessible, especially for scientists who might find complex software daunting, as I once did. In providing user-friendly tools and contributing to open science, I support the ethos of innovation through collaboration, aiming to enhance our collective understanding of health and disease.
